A little help

Let’s get back
to making music.

Quick answers for Pluki, plus a real email address when you need a hand.

Quick answers

How do I make my first song?

Choose New song, select a sound from Instruments, Animals, or Fun, and tap the sheet to place a sticker. Move it vertically to change pitch, or horizontally to change timing. Press Play to hear your song.

How do I save or open a song?

Open the song menu and choose Save song. Open song lists your saved projects. Saving under a different name makes a new copy. Continue song returns to the current draft.

Where are my songs stored?

Songs and the current draft are stored on your device. They do not automatically sync between your iPhone and iPad. Deleting Pluki can remove its local data. An exported video is not an editable project backup.

How do I delete a saved project?

Choose Open song and use the delete control for the saved project you want to remove. Be sure you no longer need that saved copy.

How do samples work?

Samples open immediately and replace the current working draft. Save your work first if you want to keep it. You can edit a sample and save it as your own project.

How do I make a longer song?

Keep adding notes near the end of the sheet. It extends automatically, up to 500 numbered beats.

How do I save a video to Photos?

Choose Export video from the song menu, select portrait or landscape, and create the video. Keep Pluki open while it is being made. On the first Photos permission request, a grown-up completes the parent check. Once permission is granted, later videos save directly.

Why won’t my video save?

Check that your device has enough free storage. If Photos permission was denied, a grown-up can enable permission for Pluki to add to Photos in device Settings, then try again. You can still compose without granting Photos permission.

Why can’t I hear anything?

Turn up media volume and check whether audio is playing through Bluetooth headphones or a speaker. Stop playback, then press Play again.

Can I use Pluki without the internet?

Yes. Composing, playback, saved projects, and video creation work on your device. App downloads, updates, email support, and any sharing you do outside Pluki may need an internet connection.
